Miranda Kerr has teamed up with Swarovski to create a collection with the jewellery brand. The Australian model has been the face of the brand since 2013 but this is the first time she has dabbled in the design side of things. “It’s such a wonderful opportunity to be able to work with a brand that I know and that has such a strong history and has all of these amazing resources, and the technology and the experience,” Kerr told WWD.
The collection consists of two lines, Diapason and Duo. The Diapason line focuses heavily on more classic and romantic designs and Duo is more about layering and creating your own look with multiple pieces. Duo is also divided into categories: Brilliance, Love, Joy, Spirit, Strength, and Grace, with symbols to reflect each mantra. “Every symbol in the collection is very important and personal to me,” said Kerr. One such symbol is the evil eye, which is the model’s favourite and represents “living your life with confidence.” Kerr will also appear in the ad campaign, which will be shot by Inez & Vinoodh. The line will be available in Swarovski stores worldwide starting Fall 2015 (just in time to make everyone’s holiday wish lists) and will range from $69 to $299.
